San Bernardino city attorney advised citizens at a community meeting in November to “Go home, lock your doors, and load your guns.” Says resident responses have been positive, only the media is fussing.

Why do they need to do this? San Berdoo (what my husband, a native of the county, calls teh city) is bankrupt, and there will be no money for increased police or fire protection. More here.
