Joe Biden’s Anderson Cooper interview

Dementia Joe claimed in his interview with Anderson that people ask why he should be president when he’d be the first president without an in ivy league degree.

“When you guys started talking on television about ‘Biden, if he wins, will be the first person without an Ivy League degree to be elected president,’ I said, ‘Who the hell makes you think I need an Ivy League degree to be president?’” Biden said. “I’m not joking.”

He also said he is the first in his family to go to college.

First of all, like, nobody but Biden said this about Biden.

Secondly…. This is from a plagiarized speech and a false claim he has been fact checked on before- and apologozed for at the time, but he probably forgot.

Thirdly, Presidents without Ivy League degrees just since 1900:

Reagan
Carter
Nixon
Johnson
Eisenhower
Truman (No degree)
Coolidge
Harding
McKinley

Go back before 1900 and it’s not even worth enumerating the number who had no college whatsoever, but we could start with Washington and everybody knows about Lincoln.

Many members of Biden’s family went to college- his great grandfather, at a time only 2%  were able to do that.

The plagiarized speech: more about that here.

Hilariously, several blue checkmark journalists praised Biden specifically for this lie, calling it a devastating strike against Trump.

Wow, just wow. That takes guts to revise a claim like that.

Oooh, ouch. That SHOULD be the type of thing that makes people back off and doubt his integrity. Well, many DO know he has no integrity, but they don’t care! Maddening!
