Trump & Romney

It’s essentially class warfare: ” it’s important to realize that the post-World War II institutional arrangements of the Western democracies are being renegotiated, and that those democracies’ professional and managerial elites don’t like that very much, because they have done very well under those arrangements. And, like all elites who are doing very well, they don’t want that to change.””

No kidding: “A very large number of Americans don’t have high levels of trust and respect for the government, and they’re generally OK with Trump being the junkyard dog who digs it all out, writes Jake Novak.”  I mean, a lot of the rest of this is clueless nonsense that could only be believed if you think history started the day Trump won.  The media took a total vacation from any journalism for 8 years, and before that they called Bush Hitler.  Of course the general public does not trust them.  It’s not that they judge Trump by different standards or that he’s untouchable. It’s the media and the left do not have any credibility left, and they haven’t any standards but the double sort since Reagan.

I’ve been saying this since I first began to be horrified that Trump was rising in the polls and started looking into what on earth was prompting people to support him. People wanted a wrecking ball because sometimes that is what is called for.  I didn’t vote for him, but if nothing else changes, I probably will vote for him this time, because I agree we need him to continue being that wrecking ball.
