Jack Sprat and Wife

My husband loves the spicy kimchi ramyun cup noodles, but he doesn’t really like soup at all.  I am not a huge fan of pasta in almost any form, but I love soup and I do like the flavor of kimchi ramyun noodles.  So he eats the noodles, and then I slurp down the broth.

“Jack Sprat could eat no fat, his wife could eat no lean. And so betwixt the two of them they licked the platter clean.” LOL Sorry, can’t help myself. Don’t you love it when things come together?

I often quote this when he finishes his noodles and gives me the broth.

Not quite the same, but my husband won’t eat the skin of chicken or salmon, which I love and claim. Can’t think of anything that goes the other way.

I am not sure we have things that go the opposite direction, either. However, while I like rice, I don’t feel like rice is kind to me (too many carbs), so when we order food that comes with rice, I give my rice to him because he loves rice and he doesn’t care about carbs.

      Congratulations, btw!!
