Airport greeting sign

Families make a sign to greet their kids at the airport. When it’s your first visit, you put a picture of your kid on the sign, and also their name in the Cyrillic alphabet, so they know you are their host family.
Since we’ve had 2 of our boys before, and they all live in the same orphanage, I decided all four already know who we are. We did meet all four at the airport last winter, too.

I had bold plans for the airplane to be mounted on a strip of cardboard and a brad contrived so the airplane could be moved in a circle. But I decided to go for lazy simple instead. I had help colouring the airplanes- I only did the flag one. the Boy’s girlfriend coloured the rest.

I’ve somehow managed not to get the oldest boy any underwear at all, so I’ll have to run to the store tomorrow and get him at least enough to get started on.  Orphans typically come with the clothes on their backs, and nothing to spare.

Beds are made, clothes are ready for trying on, plans are made for swimming, visiting a local attraction (free!), and more.  I’m getting excited and cannot wait to hug their necks.  I’ve missed the rascals.
