The Wedding

They got hitched without a hitch.  Groan

Okay, there could have been many little hitches and glitches, but we have the most amazing sons in laws and other in-laws.  One son in law took home tableclothes last night and was up until 6 a.m. washing and ironing them.  Sons-in-law and groomsmen helped moved tables and chairs, helped us get our 12 passenger van out of the mud, helped pack up everything, took care of the music,  and sons-in-law and married daughters did extra driving, entertained each other’s children, remembered the matches for candles when I didn’t, provided food, and so much more I cannot possibly think of all the ways everybody pitched in and helped before, during, and after.  The new in-laws are amazing, incredibly, servant minded, delightful people and they have raised a sweet son.  It was all good except the part where one of our daughters couldn’t be there because she was in the hospital.

The bride and groom stopped by to visit her on their way out so that was precious, too.

Prayers for the new married couple and the Cherub. And for you to get some downtime so you can get some REST!
