The number of days with subzero temperatures has reached record or near-record levels for many Midwest cities this winter.  Here

 

The Great Lakes are nearing 100% snow cover.

 

It’s cold. It’s icy.  It’s slushy, icy, and slippery.

 

We are celebrating the FYG’s 18th birthday today, and one of our daughters cannot come because she was visiting her future in-laws a few hours south of us.  The highway is closed between us due to an accident.  =(

 

We are all so ready for green, growing things, sunshine, and warmth.
