Winter At Our House…..

snow buddy

This is my son helping two of our house-guests load up their truck as they head out of here a few hours earlier than planned in an effort to beat the coming snowpocalypse.

It’s exactly as cold as it looks.  And he made two trips this morning.  Last night he did the same thing to help one of his noonas carry in the babies and coats.

Of course, it’s easier to kick off the flip flops when you walk in the house than it is to kick off your Chuck Taylors, army boots, or hunting boots.

And you can warm up by the wood stove pretty quickly, too.

I have a 21 year old son who would do the same. Their thermometers are just not the same!

You are not alone. I have one teenage son who will at least put on shoes to go out, but my oldest just goes out barefoot. I don’t understand!!!!!

One of my twins does the same. Always in flip flops.

You mean my son is not the only one who does that sort of thing? It’s normal? I feel somewhat relieved (although still concerned about his lack of judgement).
