K-Pop Saturday

I shared this on my FB. If you like gymnastics or martial arts (and I like watching both), you should love this. I consider it family friendly for my family, with about 2 seconds of borderline swivel.

It’s a lot of fun to watch- these kids have worked hard:

This is another fun KPop video, especially if you’re looking for something a little different to exercise to. It’s Crayon Pop’s (크레용팝) 빠빠빠(usually translated as Bar Bar Bar, but I’d call it Bba bba bba myself)

It’s one that was popular enough recently to spark a lot of parodies.

And this is just so, so, so much prettifulness:

Their harmonies here sometimes sent a wave of chills over me.

I think I remember you saying somewhere that you’re learning Korean. I’ve been learning very (very!) casually and have wanted to find some children’s picture books in Korean. The library has none, and I can’t seem to find much on Amazon. Then I came across a webpage that links to a Korean source of free e-books. From what I can tell, this site is for Korean parents who want to help their children learn Korean, as we would want to help kids learn English. I thought you might enjoy it:

There are picture dictionaries and story books, etc.

The Crayon Pop video had my children burning energy without putting holes in each other, the furniture, or the walls, on a long winter’s evening. For nine minutes, at least. I may need to expand on this idea.
