He still wants the black futon I shared here, but meanwhile, he is using this chair futon we had in the Common Room and sometimes use for shorter guests:
He also wants to lose the jungle themed wallpaper border, but of all the borders in the house, this one seems to be sticking the best. And he wants a black office chair.
He likes to keep the black top of his desk polished to a gleaming shine so he can see himself in it.
He took the door off of his closet so he could buy a chin-up bar and put it there. The noonas have also taken a turn with the chin up bar. HE says the FYG-noona is the funniest- she pumps her legs like she’s riding a bicycle in the air.
The cloth on the dresser has the Gryffendor shield from the Harry Potter novels.
After not being able to find affordable shoes for him forever, he chose to buy his own boots and tennis shoes and Jenny-noona bought him a pair of dress shoes they found on sale a couple days ago. He’s well stocked for now, although he says his Chuck Taylors are probably gonna have a blow out soon:
The map is pretty cool. He looks at it with attention, too. Yesterday I asked him some map related question that I didn’t expect him to know, and he knew the answer easily, and told me, “haven’t you seen the map in my room? I look it over every day.”
Getting the twin bed out of his room really makes it look much, much bigger, and it gives him a lot more room to do his stuff, too. Stuff being sit ups, push ups, gun cleaning, lego projects, etc.
When the twin bed was where his futon bed is now, neither the closet door or the bedroom door could be opened all the way. This works so much better. Why don’t more Americans sleep on the foor
P.S. There’s a picture of what his room used to look like here.
