For all 13 people supposedly ‘helped’ by Obamacare, that help was built on the bleeding backs of thousands of people like this: http://themattwalshblog.com/2013/10/21/the-definitive-guide-to-how-obamacare-is-destroying-american-lives/
The stories are heartrending, and scary. The selfishness of those in favor of this debacle just floors me, as does their shortsightedness.
We still don’t know how much it’s all going to cost us, but we assume big time, since there’s also a tax on every dollar in rental income brought in- not profit, but whatever you charge for rent, you pay taxes on all of it. We don’t make a profit on rent. We barely break even, and that’s only if the are no repairs being made on the rental. That’s going to be a knife in the gut, having to pay taxes on a financial hole (we haven’t been able to sell it, and we can’t afford to have it empty.)
I liked this comment:
I absolutely love that people are demanding that Matt show both sides of the story. In addition to the fact that the mainstream media already has that covered, any positive stories would have been born out of the negative ones.
This whole situation is like watching someone take a bottle from one sick baby and give it to another one. Then they expect everyone to think they’re so sweet for helping that poor baby while ignoring the crying one behind him.
