She Shall Be the Bumblebee

Because she looks good in yellow. She looks so good in yellow, in fact, that upon a recent viewing of Name Your Link The Equuschick was inspired to refer to her as the Snuggly Duckling. She decided against Snuggly Duckling for the official bloggy name though, she thought it might be a bit too…too much.

Thank-you all for the suggestions and commentage.

For those who might wish an update on the Cat, the Cat was taken to be neutered today, and will probably take up an outdoorish sort of residence with Shasta & Co.

The Equuschick has inquired if the Standard Poodle (did she mention a friend is offering them their Standard Poodle?) would do well in a yard that isn’t yet fenced and is awaiting a reply and still finds the situation very confused.

She had wanted, when they ever did get around to get another Dog Who Won’t Be Zeus, to get another shelter dog. But she didn’t really want to begin to look yet.

The thing about the Standard Poodle is that The Equuschick hadn’t looked for him at ALL. He just keeps showing up in places The Equuschick wasn’t looking for him, metaphorically speaking.

The Cat, of course, just showed up. Not metaphorically. Cats. Bah.

Well, I’m happy about the cat! We have three. One very affectionate and indoors a lot, one in-and-out, one semi-feral who spends all of her time outside and only comes inside when it’s below freezing. All the benefits of having pets with very little bother. Someone in the family puts down food once a day. That’s it!
I think that cats are ideal when you have a young family (although we do have anti-histamine on hand for any visitors that have cat allergies). Good move, Cat!
