She wants to go on a Celtic Thunder Cruise, and she can tell by the way I am laughing at her that it’s not happening. She says she’s sure our readers will sympathize with her need to be on a first name basis with the members of Celtic Thunder (never mind that some of them are old enough that we’d require her to call them Mister even if she did know them). She says if I just let our kind and generous readers know that she NEEDS to go on this cruise and meet all the members of Celtic Thunder, the donations will surely pour in.
This is me, calling her bluff, and inviting you to join me in laughing (in a totally good-natured fashion, of course. No mockery here).
Now, if it was to go to Korea and meet the members of, oh, Big Bang., however… (a healthy dose of self-mockery here)

I went to a Celtic Thunder concert a few years ago with three of my daughters, and one of them, who shall remain unnamed, tried to embarrass me silly by acting like a groupie and yelling something like, “Keith, I love you!”
I’m sure FYG would not dream of being so very silly if her cruise were to really happen.
She has gone to a Celtic thunder concert, and while she didn’t yell that, she did get very excited about having had eye contact with one of the guys- she called me at intermission to tell me he proposed with his eyes.;-D Her grandma and one of the other Big Sisters were there with her, and they both acknowledge she did have prolonged and friendly eye contact…
