Granny Tea visited the podiatrist and was told she had also to be weighed, to have her blood pressure checked, and have her temperature taken.  If the doctor doesn’t input this information into the computer program,  they get docked 4% of the cost from their reimbursements. She doesn’t want her blood pressure or her temperature taken for a visit to the foot doctor.

If they do surgery and don’t administer antibiotics within 20 minutes of surgery they also get docked.  They lost 55,000 last year because they were honest and if it was 21 minutes after wards, that’s what they said.  There’s no particular reason why it needs to be 20 minutes and not 22.  Her doctor said the medical literature he reads says within an hour after surgery.  But ObamaCare has set the limit at 20 minutes, so there it is.
