All books are better than the movie unless the movie is a musical. Then it’s a draw.

I would guess the Shades of Gray series but since I didn’t read any of them, that may not be fair.

I started Brandon Mull’s Fablehaven series, and I enjoyed it, but I didn’t finish it. I don’t think that’s the fault of the series, though. It’s for kids, btw, not adults.
