We’re sharing favorite fruit recipes.

 

This one is from the HG:

 

Grape salad

9 ounces of cream cheese at room temp.

8 ounces of whipped cream

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup sour cream

1 1/2 T. molasses

Dash cinnamon

drop of lemon juice

Combine all of the above together, mix well.  Add:

1 pound of rinsed and stemmed grapes, red preferred.

Gently stir, chill at least one hour.

 

We also have a really delicious uncooked applesauce the HG shared before.  Yummy!

    One of my little ones is allergic to gluten & dairy… so we love fruit recipes! They make perfect desserts & snacks for those that can’t have all the other ‘stuff’! For my son’s 3rd birthday, we made a ‘Real Watermelon Cake’… and it was a hit! =) God Bless! ~Erika

    Heh. My favorite fruit recipe is 1) Pick fruit. 2) Eat it.

    I guess you could put fruit smoothies on the next iteration down. You stick 1 cup milk or juice, one single serving of yogurt, and various frozen fruit in a blender, hold the lid on, and blend at low speed until everything’s crushed, then high speed until smooth. I usually eyeball the proportions and I don’t mind a little ice on the fruit, but I do like it that thick. Come to think of it, you could then just stick it in popsicle molds (or empty single-serving yogurt containers) and freeze for fruit pops.
