We mailed back our Clearplay on the 23 of June, because it broke. They sent a tracking ID number for mailing us the replacement. But then it didn’t come and it didn’t come. My husband looked more closely at the tracking ID number and noticed something funny.
According to the information, they mailed the replacement Clearplay to us over a year ago. Yeah. That was for the OLD, broken Clearplay. So then he played phone tag. A lot.
At some point *I* got a phone call from a Clearplay rep- I realized later he called me because he didn’t want to talk to my husband anymore (that’s an exaggeration). Anyway, he told me to pass on to my husband that the new device was definitely being shipped to us, and it would go out that very night via 3 day air.
I was in the middle of school with my youngest two and in a hurry. I quickly typed down what he said, repeated it once, and hung up, never listening to myself.
When my husband came home I read him the message, and we both looked at each other and said, “three day AIR?” Aren’t they in the states?
The kids confirm that those are the words I repeated back on the phone.
My husband called again, and then he got this email, which explains everything:
Dear ________, I am ___________ from clear play, I was the last person did talk with you, I am in Salt Lake City, Utah, I did told you your order was place today, but the dvd player will be sent to you on Wednesday or Thursday, we can give you the tracking right until the dvd player is put in ups on Wednesday or Thursday, have a great day.
Much has been made clear to us, now.
