Why People Annoy The Equuschick #9087

A woman brought three kittens in yesterday, all only a few days old. She worked at a hotel, and had opened one of the doors and an adult cat ran out of the room in the fright. The woman found a litter of five kittens, and could not wait a single night for the mother to come back, so she “rescued”‘ all five of them right then and there and proceeded to try bottle-feeding them 2% cow’s milk. Two died.
So she brought them to the shelter, and The Boss told her the honest truth. We could take them, and we’d try to do see what we could do, but euthanasia may be the only last option. We had no no foster mother, and they were all ready dying.
And the woman did not like this, oh no. “You mean you’re not even going to give them a CHANCE?” (We hear that alot.)
But when The Boss explained the difficulties involved with caring for three orphaned kittens and asked the woman if she would like to take them and try herself, the response was “Oh no, I can’t do that! It is just too difficult.”
And she left, angry at us for our inability to resolve an issue she’d created and had no interest in repairing with her own resources.
