Family Tragedy

The Equuschick’s copy of A&E’s Pride and Prejudice died last night. There will be a decent burial, of course, with tears and everything. We do not despair however, there will be a Resurrection of the Dead in the form of a friend’s spare dvd copy.

In the darkest of nights, there is always hope.

I just checked out this version (A&E, BBC, 1995) for the first time yesterday and today, but the library’s copy of tape #6 is loaned out.

There will continue to be great tension in the house until we can get our hands on the last tape!

You are funny! That movie was my oldest daughters favorite movie. My youngest aren’t old enough yet but I do hope they like it as much as Wendy did.

I recently acquired a new book copy of Pride & Prejudice.

The humor is that I acquired it from a teacher friend of mine, and it has that grade-school textbook printing on the inside where you can list owners and years owned. There’s just something wrong about that.
