Our eventful days of mowing

Day before yesterday:
Pipsqueak started to mow her side of the lawn but had to stop before she was finished; it was too late in the afternoon so the grass became damp.

I started to mow my side of the lawn.
I umm…. got the lawn mower tangled up in some wire. :(
When the HM came back from work he fixed it and I mowed ’till the grass became damp.

Pipsqueak was able to finish her side of the lawn!
JennyAnyDots was able to finish her side, too.

Proverbs 27:25
The hay appeareth, and the tender grass showeth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.

I finally broke down and paid someone to mow my lawn yesterday. I have no lawnmower, and I felt sorry for our neighbor who has been mowing ours out of the kindness of his heart for the last four or five months! It is getting too hot for charity like that.

    Tomorrow is my Weed-the-flower-garden-and-buy-some-plants-to-replace-the-nasty-lantana-bushes-the-nice-neighbor-pulled-out-this-morning Day.
