Homeschooling Blogs to Visit

If you are homeschooling more than three or four children, or if you are homeschooling one or two and want to know how to encourage those of us with many munchkins, Get thee to the Dominion Family and read Education is an Atmosphere or The ATmosphere of a Large Family.[update for clarification: really, lots of homeschoolers of all sorts will find much to encourage in that post. I am thinking particularly of a friend of mine, a lovely long time homeschooler of two, who first put up with years of argument about why shouldn't be homeschooling, and now that her detractors have joined the ranks of homeschoolers, is getting flak from them about why she's doing it all wrong. If this has ever happened to you or if you have ever been guilty of doing this, you'll benefit from the above post, no matter how many children you have]

If you want to be better organized, find some good home-steading or practical home arts reading, visit Mrs. Happy Housewife. Scroll down for info on Flylady’s summer camp clean up with your kids. Sounds FUN! As my children like to say when they see me reading some ‘how-to book,’ “Uh-oh, Mama’s getting ideas again.”

If you wish to be delighted and amused by one of the best homeschooling sleepwalker stories I have ever heard in my life, visit her Charlotte Mason Mama page and read Alas, We Lack Flax.

Does it count if you’re not homeschooling more than three or four, but would like to? :)
