Hello, all! The HeadGirl is actually now part of the Internet World again. There isn’t really anything of substance to write (I’m past pp 100 in Lewis’ The Four Loves, but I suppose that doesn’t count as substance until I’ve finished). I just spent some time reading over a few of my old journal entries and came across one I thought would be fun to share here. I recorded them after eavesdropping on a schooling session with the Zookeeper & the Younger Crew.
Zookeeper: Who was Julius Caeasar?
The Boy: ooh! He conquered something, I know that.
~
Zookeeper: What do you think the fruits of the spirit are?
The Boy: God’s (he’s into short and sweet answers, can you tell?)
Mom: Yes, but what do you think our fruit is supposed to be?
The Boy: I think God’s fruit is grapes.
(personally, I take issue with this and with the essayist who said that God’s fruit was strawberries. It’s gotta be raspberries, folks).
